Britney Spears' former husband Kevin Federline says the sexual harassment and child abuse claims made against her by a former bodyguard are untrue.
Britney Spears' former husband has defended her against sexual harassment and child abuse claims.
Kevin Federline is adamant allegations contained in a lawsuit filed by Britney's former bodyguard Fernando Flores yesterday (08.09.10) - which allege the 'Toxic' singer sexually harassed him and physically beat her son Sean Preston with a belt - are fabricated.
Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said: "He is satisfied the allegations are a product of economic motives. They are as baseless as they seem."
Kaplan added Kevin - who has primary custody of his and Britney's children, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James - asked the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services to investigate the claims and found no wrongdoing by his ex-wife.
He added: "I think the timing of this and the nature of the allegations speak for themselves."
In documents filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court, Fernando - who quit as Britney's bodyguard in June - describes five instances where the 28-year-old singer, exposed herself or made sexual advances towards him.
He also alleges she engaged in sexual intercourse in the same hotel suite as her sons and claims she fed them crabmeat, despite knowing of their allergies to seafood.
Britney Spears' publicist has responded to a sexual harassment case filed by the star's former bodyguard - dismissing the suit as a way for the former aide to "make a name for himself".
In a shocking new lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday (08Sep10), Fernando Flores accused the Toxic hitmaker of exposing herself and making sexual advances towards him while he worked for her.
Flores had previously claimed that Spears was a terrible parent to her two sons, alleging he once witnessed the star "savagely hit" her son Sean Preston with a belt.
An investigation was launched after the bodyguard reported her to the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services earlier this year (10), but officials rejected the claims in July (10).
Now a rep for the superstar has taken to Spears' website to dismiss the latest lawsuit as nothing more than a publicity ploy by a disgruntled former employee.
On the site, a statement reads, "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself.
"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."
Britney Spears is at the centre of a shocking sexual harassment case, filed against her by a former bodyguard.
Fernando Flores claims the pop star repeatedly exposed herself to him, while he was in her employ, and made sexual advances towards him.
In a suit, filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday (08Sep10) and obtained by TMZ.com, Flores alleges his former boss once titillated him during a night out - wearing little but a see-through lace dress.
In legal papers, his lawyer states, "She was wearing a white lace, see-through dress. She walked over close by (Flores), intentionally dropped her cigarette lighter on the floor, bent over to retrieve it and thereby exposed her uncovered genitals... The incident caused (Flores) shock and disgust."
The bodyguard also alleges Spears once summoned him to her room, where she was standing naked, and asked him to bring her two sodas when he asked if she needed anything.
Also in the suit, Flores claims Spears "engaged in numerous sex acts" in front of him.
He also alleges the Toxic hitmaker was "loudly having sexual relations" in a hotel suite where her kids were present. The suit does not state if the kids saw anything of a sexual nature.
And the bodyguard isn't just taking issue with Spears' sex escapades - he's making serious claims about her parenting skills.
The suit claims that on one occasion Britney "savagely hit" her son Preston with Flores' belt and on another occasion the pop star fed both her young sons crab meat even though she knew they had serious seafood allergies. In the suit, the bodyguard claims both kids started vomiting and Spears allegedly prevented anyone from seeking medical help, allegedly telling them, "Mind your own f**king business!"
Lea Michele couldn't believe her eyes when a super-fit Britney Spears walked onto the Glee set last week.
"She was so professional," Michele, 24, tells Access Hollywood. "She looked incredible. She's so tiny!"
Michele says Spears, 28, was "great to work with. It was one of those things where you go to work and you're like, 'I can't believe we're doing this!'"
Earlier this month, shots surfaced of Michele wearing similar duds that Spears wore in her famous "...Baby One More Time" video.
Though she confirms they shot a scene together, she says, "What we do together, I can't say. I will tell you it's incredibly iconic!"
Asked about Spears' episode -- set to air Sept. 28 -- Glee creator Ryan Murphy was mum.
"I can't say anything!" he told UsMagazine.com at the Emmys Sunday in L.A. "She is very, very sweet, and she was very well prepared."
He told Us she even played some cuts from her upcoming album, "which is really amazing. It's sort of a return to the sort of Britney dance stuff. There are some great, great singles on that album. I was really happy for her. I feel like she is coming back in a big way."
Added actor Kevin McHale, "She was super nice and willing to try whatever Ryan wanted her to do. I can't say what she did, but I can't wait for people to see it. I think it's going to be great."
You know Ashley Tisdale from the High School Musical series. She’ll be back on TV in the new cheerleading series Hellcats. Already this is a tougher game than musical theater.
Ashley Tisdale One of the Hellcats “Cheerleading is different form dance,” Tisdale said. “It’s stiffer. My sister was a cheerleader all through high school and college so she helped me out when I was auditioning, ‘put your arms this way.’Everyone is open to what we feel comfortable doing and as an actor and a person I’ve always loved to challenge myself and when I saw one of the stunts for the second episode I said, ‘That looks kinda fun, I want to do it.’ They obviously take every precaution and we have coaches on set at all times so I’m actually flying. We have stunt doubles for the flips and stuff but we want to go out there and actually do it ourselves. Being up high is really scary. I think you have to be a little bit crazy to be a cheerleader. And I think I have a little crazy in me.”
The Hellcats will train for new routines each week and we’ll get to see their performances. Like Glee with cheerleaders, or so we thought. “No, I think it’s completely different. Lea Michele is a really sweet girl and she came up to me and was like, ‘Thank you so much, your show kind of paved the way for all of us.’ I love watching it. I think Ryan came up with really great characters and a really entertaining show. It’s funny and has all the makings of a great TV show. I’m really excited about the Britney Spears episode.”

Lindsay Lohan has given a post-prison interview to US magazine Vanity Fair, in which she admits that onarriving in Los Angeles she wanted to be like Britney Spears. Both USA Today and the New York Post quote excerpts from the exclusive interview, which will be published in full in the magazine's October edition.
"I was irresponsible. And I'm not making excuses," said Lohan of her partying days, before adding, "I was experimenting. I was doing certain things that people do 10 times more of when they're in college." The star of Mean Girls also spoke of her earlier years in Hollywood, admitting it was "really scary and sad ... I would look up to those girls ... the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that."
The singer recently filmed her cameo for the TV musical drama and has posted a picture on her twitter page which shows her posing as the 52-year-old singer from their 2003 music video to their duet 'Me Against The Music'.
In the picture Britney is wearing a white trouser suit, which is similar to what Madonna wore, while Heather Morris - who plays Glee member Brittany - takes on Britney's role.
To accompany the picture, she wrote: "All my Gleekers in the crowd, grab a partner take it down - Brit."
The 'Toxic' singer was thrilled to have a cameo role in a special episode of the musical TV show, which will feature several songs from her back catalogue.
Posting on twitter, she wrote: "What's up GLEEKS? Having so much fun on set!! Can't wait for you guys to see the episode! (sic)"
The blonde beauty also posted a series of pictures onto the microblogging website from the studio.
The first photo was a mocked up poster of her with 'Glee' star Lea Michele, while another showed her with assistant Brett Miller on set doing the 'Glee' hand signal.
In a third picture, Britney shows her name emblazoned on a special director-style chair.
Show creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed the episode - entitled 'Britney/Brittany' - will poke fun at 'Glee' leader Mr. Schuester's reluctance to cover the pop star's music.
He said: "The entire episode is Mr. Shue saying, 'I don't want to do Britney.' We're doing it in a really fun, hallucinogenic way."
The Britney episode comes after 'Glee' writers previously penned special scripts dedicated to Madonna and Lady Gaga.
Ryan had previously spoken about his desire to get Britney on the show, saying: "Her people want to do it. Like Madonna, they gave me carte blanche. They know that we're fans of hers, and we're doing it in a very reverential way."

Britney Spears' complicated life just got a little easier as the child abuse investigation against her was dropped by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, RadarOnline.com learned exclusively.
The investigation was sparked by allegations made by former bodyguard Fernando Flores who had accused her of beating her two sons, Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.
The department said there was "absolutely no truth to the accusations," a Spears' family insider told RadarOnline.com.
"Sean and Jayden's pediatricians submitted documentation that the boys were healthy, and that they have never seen any signs of abuse. The case was officially closed after the department received that information from the boys' doctor," revealed the source.
Social workers initially visited the singer's home after Flores made shocking allegations that she beaten the boys with a belt that he had been wearing.
The claim was, "absolutely outlandish and absurd. Britney would never lay a hand on either one of her sons, she loves them so much," said the insider.
"Flores is an opportunist seeking his 15 minutes of fame," revealed another source close to the family

It is claimed that the 28-year-old star has bought the property, at One Hyde Park in Knightsbridge, so she can try to reach out to her European fans. However, she has surprised builders by wanting to paint the walls pink.
A source said to UK newspaper The People: "Britney is spending a large chunk of her fortune on this place so the builders are absolutely astonished that she wants to paint it pink.
"It is hardly the classiest look for it but they are getting on with making sure it is ready for when she wants to visit. Britney has always wanted a base in London, she has spent a lot of time here during her career so the city has become close to her heart.
"She is hoping to catapult her career once again after a long break. Now that she is over all of her problems she is looking forward to a new start."
